Anyone who has spent five minutes using any kind of tech knows that the world of computers is fraught with inexplicable malfunctions, errors, and unintended glitches (especially when updates occur). Unfortunately, this is affecting my blog. Without too many painful specifics, I’ll just say that, last week, WordPress developed a glitch that ruins the formatting of poetry pasted into the platform. After lengthy & arduous fiddling, I was able to post last week’s poem, hoping things would be fixed by this week. They aren’t.
I reached out to WordPress, & a saintly “Happiness Engineer” (AKA tech support) tried to help me until 10:00 PM last night. But to no avail. There are lengthy workarounds I can use, but I just don’t have time. So, no poem today, unfortunately. I will try again next week!
